Why is it illegal for people to buy a full auto .22 just like any other gun, what would be wrong with that i dont think someone would rob a bank with a .22 or put national security at risk, is a .22 really that dangerous?

The american 180, 22lr rotary mag rifle, can chop thru cinder block. A 22lr has alot of zip. 200 in a half a minute at a 10 inch target would be quite destructive.
Especially if they were depleted uranium bullets.

is is illegal to post ban configure a 22lr as a semi automatic weapon with pistol grip, folding stock, flash hider & bayonet mount.
