Would you mind telling me what type and brand of ammunition you were firing when the extractor broke on your new P-32?
Just curious.

Thanks,
Will

Well, you certainly got my attention!

I've never been a topic before. I was shooting Fiocchi JHP's. You wanna know what I REALLY think it was? I shoot .45's all the time, which has a rebated rim...right? I'm REALLY used to just pushing cartridges into the mag without another thought. I think that I got a rim of the .32 behind the rim of the round below it in the mag, and the slide operated, and broke the extractor. I'd bet that most of Kel-Tec's problems with extractors really begin with this. After all, no extractors that I know of are built to snap over the rim...the rim is supposed to rise between the extractor and breechface. You can believe that I'll pay more attention to loading the P-32 mag from now on!

Which brings us back to having a rimless .30 round smaller than .30 Luger but with more case capacity than .32acp The 32super is still semi-rimmed, I think. Anyone care to design a viable wildcat? Better yet, can a rimless .32 feed in older 32acp designs?

Oleg, if you can build it, and it'll still fit into a pocket, I'll buy one! (I realize that this sounds a bit snide, but I assure you that is not the way I mean it)
