Front sight replacement Browning Buck Mark Contour

Has anyone put a fiber optic sight on their Buck Mark Contour .22 pistol? I am trying to replace the sight on a new Buck Mark Black Label. This model was just released this year so they are not very common. The Buck Mark Contour is an older model that appears to have the same sight. If there is a solution for the Contour it will probably work for my Black Label but it would be great to talk with someone who has replaced the sight on their pistol.

I called Browning but they were of no help. They couldn't even give me the dimensions of the current sight. The gun comes with a laser, but I want to be able to also shoot using the iron sights. My 67 year old eyes have a hard time picking up the black front sight in the low light of many indoor ranges.

I found one at Dawson Precision but I am not sure that it will fit. I emailed the company but have not heard back from them. They offer one for the Contour but their website doesn't mention it working on a Black Label. That could be because the gun was just released at the 2015 Shot Show.

Buckmark front sight

The Dawson tech emailed me back and said he was unsure if their sight would fit but it appeared that it would. He confirmed a roll pin was needed and said that the sight came with all the necessary parts and instructions.

If you go with the Dawson sights, I would be very interested in what you find out. I am interested in getting the Black Label. Thanks

Black Label Front Sight

I opted to go with a red dot sight. It will arrive on Monday. Also, on a related Buckmark item, many people have complained that the side is tough to retract. I agree. At the end of a day at the range my fingers were tender. In another forum I saw a picture of a Black Label with a red dot sight and a charging ring on the end of the slide. I bought one. It is a Halo charging ring. I can't tell you how much it helps. Love the pistol.
