Front sight height on a Super Blackhawk

Does anyone else have trouble getting enough adjustments to keep bullets over 240grs on paper at 25yds with their Super Blackhawk? I've bottomed out my rear sight, and my 270gr Speers at 1150fps are still about a foot high @25, and who know where at 50yds. They group reasonably, but that's just a bit more Arkansas elevation than I care to apply.
Locations from which replacement front blades of varying heights are available would also be appreciated.

Yes. The rear sight on the one's I have, have had and have handled are pretty close to the bottom sighted for 240-250 grain bullets. I had one set up with a tall front sight just so I could get it sighted in with 300 and 300 plus grain bullets.

This one has the high front sight and also a lug in front of the ejector housing to keep the unit from detaching under recoil:

Where did you get the replacement blade? I'm really finding this sort of frustrating, as I have no interest in bullets under 240grs. I've tried speeding them up and slowing them down, yet nothing works.
thanks,

You could try givin Ruger a call...
Good chance they will stick a blade in an envelope and mail it to you.

DOH!
Sam-that's about the only way I'll get it. I'm sure as heck not sending my OLD model Super up for Ruger to butcher. I hear that's their policy with any old models that come in.
I checked gun parts corp, but they only seem to have the stock parts. Any other suggestions? (I'll try writing to Ruger-that usually gets the friendliest response).
