I'm thinking about buying a MAS 36 rifle that has been rechambered for 308. Century Arms has them for 99.00. I'd like to have an inexpensive plinker in 308 and would like some advice from anyone who is familiar with these guns.
Hammy: I just recently bought a MAS 49/56 that Century rechambered to 7.62. Not a good experience, and it has since been returned to the shop I bought it from. Just a word of warning.
