Free or very cheap 6mm remington brass?

I'm hoping to get lucky trying to find free or almost free remington 6mm remington brass. I can't find it cheap or free anywhere. It's my primary hunting gun handed down to me from my pap.

Good luck, Of all my many years of collecting brass I don't recall finding any 6mm Rem. If I did have a pile of range brass for that cartridge or I shoot and reload that cartridge, how good is it and how many times has it been loaded?
I have sold and shipped gun brass, depending on what it is I charge 2-3 times the local scrap value and add shippig.
I hope you get lucky and Santa comes through.

What I have done in the past is, when brass is impossible to find on a range once fired or new brass is very expensive, I purchase a small quantity (50 rounds) of commercially loaded ammo, shoot it up and use it for reloading brass. Sometimes it's the only way to get what you need.

Good luck and stay safe.

Good luck finding free or cheap on the brass made from unicorn tears.
It has gotten a little better in the last year, component wise, at least new.

Last year I was searching for 4-5 months for components.
No brass or 75/87 v max bullets anywhere. I could find lighter and heavier weights.

Check lohman arms they seem to have some for around 0.60/case new.

Dads 6mm likes a 87 v max on top of a stiff load of imr 4064 the best,
But it also likes the 75 vmax with the same powder as well.

When I did manage to get free/trade brass the necks had splitting issues, so be aware of that, on one the neck broke at the shoulder in the size die.

I'm thrilled if someone leaves 30-30 brass at the range and tells me I can have it. I have never seen 6 mm Remington for sale , much less for free !
Reforming is going to be your best bet. It's not hard and would solve the case dilemma .

I bought 7x57 (aka 7mm Mauser) casings from Grafs, that I necked down to 257 Roberts.
It's PVRI, and was not badly priced for 100 casings.
