Free Mosin Shim Kits For Fathers

Hello,

This is not a promotion per se. It only applies to dads, and that's why this is not in my dedicated thread.

If you are a dad and receive a Mosin for Father's Day, write me from my website at Contact Smith-Sights and I'll send you a free accurizing shim kit.

There are conditions:

• You must receive the Mosin as a Father's Day gift from your child.

• You must install the shim kit with your kid. I don't care if he or she isn't a year old yet, the kid gets to watch, at least.

• You must take the kid who gave you the Mosin shooting the first time you take it out after modifying it. If your child is too young to shoot yet, you must promise to do it at the earliest opportunity.

That's all I ask. You probably do this type of thing with your son or daughter anyway, so I'm not asking anything extraordinary.

Awesome idea! I sent you a message through the contact. My dad got surprised with an M44 this year. Still have some work to do to it (polishing the bolt, final inletting of the stock, replacing the front sight with a smith sight) and we would enjoy the addition of a shim kit.

You can look forward to pictures if we do get a set!

The shim kits will be going out this week, after Father's Day. I figure there are some dads who do not know they're getting Mosins yet!

My 6-year-old went and bought me a lot of fishing stuff with his own money. April (wife/mother) took him to a local sporting goods spot and I ended up with some nice swim jigs.

The wife and baby (Belle) got me a coffee mill, which I love.

My eldest daughter made a collage of pictures.

I get up, start coffee, start work, drink coffee, and the couple hours I sometimes have free each week, I take the kids fishing or shooting.

It's a hard life, but a good one.
