free float aluminum tube for ar-15

I have done a lot of searching on the weight for a rifle length free float tube on Rock River Ar's and i cant find any. i have it on my rifle and am thinking of going to a picatinny rail system but if the aluminum tube is way lighter i doubt i"ll end up doing it. my only real purpose for the picatinny is just to make my rifle look cooler so if it adds a ton of weight i wont do it.

I think the dpms rifle length tube should be about the same weight as the RRA so if anyone knows the weight for either it would be greatly appreciated

There is a forum on ar15.com with most weight posted. If you don't have a use for the picatinny rails, don't get them, or look into the YHM customizable forearm, it allows you to add rails only where you need them. YHM has all weights posted on their sight.
