Free color TV for TFL members

For you that is coming to the The End of Summer Meet in August is eligible to win a brand new Color Tv, it will the door prize to the members only along with some other prizes to be given away. A anomynous TFL person has donated this TV to be given away to the TFL members who is coming. It will be given away through a drawing towards the end of the meet. For those of you that hasn't seen the post on the big meet here is the link to it. Its going to be a great time wouldn't want any of you to miss this. :)

Haven't thought about that George, but since you gave me the idea I might consider, it would make a pretty good size target for this new shooter, I need something big. No J/K, why would I want to shoot something that someone so kind would buy and give it away to their fellow TFLer's. :) George you get me into so much trouble, you make me say things that isn't nice. ;)

TVs are cool to shoot but not so cool to clean up after shooting - many many many small parts plus the junk to small to clean up. I much prefer two liter soda bottles (plastic) filled with water, great "explosion" and easy cleanup :)

Terridarri, have you seen the drivel on tv? Run an extension cord, tune in Dan Blather and have at it. :D

I don't know if I can get to the TFL gathering or not. But as a suggestion, hang some reactive targets that will make noise or move when hit. They give feed back, right now, if they are hit.

The member, who wishes to remain anomymous at this time, is looking for a new name brand 27 or 32 inch color television to be given away by drawing at the meet. He/she is doing this to generate more interest in the meet in an effort to attract more membership to the meet. Out of respect for their wish I will not say who they are but do plan to encourage them to come forward. ;)
This is a truly selfless and generous act just so more of us will get a chance to meet the people we "talk" with every day. Several members I feel could stand up and take a bow, so to speak, for their efforts in making this meet as successful as possible. Members have offered to help with the set up and clean up afterwards. Members have offered to help in arranging transportation, pick others up from various airports, share rides, etc.. Son (formerly SVT) has offered to pay for a disabled members travel and accomodation expenses as well as assist them while here. fal308, Slowpoke Rodrigo and 4202 have already came down to look the range over and help with preparing some courses of fire.
All and all I'd have to say we've got a pretty damn good group of people here and should all be proud of all of them, I know I am.

No need for thanks. I'm only doing a small part. There are so many things that we gun owners can do for society and each other. Don't let the acts of goodwill by TFL members end here on this forum. Pass it on to other forums and your daily life. Together, we can change how gun owners are viewed!
