My first time using a MZL with a breech plug, 777 magnum pellets & 209 primer. EEGadz what a mess. I'm convinced unless advice to the contrary, that TC Bore Butter will be a better lube for the threads on the plug in this CVA Kodiak, than the grease I just purchased. My old TC inline that uses #11 percussion caps, cleans up in a matter of 15 minutes. This new rig took 2 hrs. Triigger on the Kodiak leaves much to be desired. Can they be re-worked?

You might try contacting CVA about whether they can improve your trigger since the warranty will be void if you do it yourself. They used to clean up sidelock triggers if the rifle was sent in to them.
Another suggestion is to try a product like this RWS 60% moly paste lube which is said to be like having a trigger job in a jar.

Smokey,
As I have listed in past posts, I use Copper Based anti-seiz paste and it works great. I use it on my in-lines as well as my traditionals. One place you can buy this paste, is from a plumbing supply outfit. The Pipefitters in our plant used it on high temp flang bolts. The same company makes a nickle based past that is rated for higher temps. but I prefer the copper based. I have not used the Moly based that but arcticap has listed but have to believe that this too will work for you, at least much better than Bore Butter. What you need to look for, is the temp. rating of whatever you use. Also, keep in mind that the hotter your shot-string is, the more problems you will have. I'm going to assume you are at your optimum shot-string. Check historical postings, in this forum, that has addressed this problem.

Be Safe !!!
