Hey all,
I keep an AR under my bed for quick response in case I hear a bump in the night or need it for some reason. I don't have a shotgun yet, and the .223 round tends to fragment and become non-lethal quicker than a .45ACP. (YES I'VE SEEN THE BOX O' TRUTH TESTS).
Eitherway, I'm afraid of over penetration right now and have some frangible ammunition loaded in my AR. Anybody know of their terminal ballistics properties? Should I return to M193 ball or stick w/ the frangible rounds to avoid possible collateral damage?
Thanks!
