Franchi versus Stoeger question

I've never owned an O/U shotgun, and I am by no means an expert on shotguns period. My question is: Why would someone buy a Franchi versus a Stoeger?

Just to compare:
Franchi Titanium with 12 and 20 gauge barrels $1875

Stoeger Condor with 12 and 20 gauge barrels $600

Granted that's full retail, but still, that's a $1275 difference in price. Is the Franchi that much better of a gun? If so, why?

That much better??? In a word--YES.

You really need to go down and look at em in person----the difference is obvious.

Stoeger and Franchi are both owned by Beretta now, and both produce solid guns. It's kinda like comparing Chevys and Cadillacs though. The Chevy will get you there just as well, but the Caddy will do it in alot more style.
