Franchi Renaissance Field

I am looking to buy a new lightweight o/u 12 gauge. I will be using it primarily for upland game hunting, but also want to be able to use it for duck hunting. The price and weight of the new Franchis caught my eye. Given the aluminum receiver and its lightweight, has anyone had any problems with this gun? I don't expect to go through more than 200 or so rounds per year.

I have a Franchi Diamond 20 gauge and love it for it's fit and great handling quality. I tried the 12s and they seemed nice, but with the steel receiver of that model, a bit heavy.

The Diamonds were on sale at Dick's Sporting Goods for $799. One of the better values for a hunting shotgun.

A nice feature is that the Franchi's use Beretta/Benelli choke tubes. I got some Carleson's tubes from Brownells and were only $18 retail as I remember, though with my gunsmith discount, I did better than that. They're guaranteed for life and are very well made.
