I had been looking for a Baretta Whitewing with 28" barrels, but since Beretta says they won't be available till late June, if then, I'm shopping around. I found a Franchi Alcione Sport, 12ga, 30" backbored, ported, extended knurled chokes(no wrench!) with beautiful wood for $1375. Manual safety (good for target shooting), mechanical trigger (good when you get a bad primer). Not sure about the barrel selector being on the trigger, good, bad, or indifferent??
Besides being a really nice piece, I have no knowledge of Franchi. Looking for pros or cons, any expierience with this brand would be appreciated. Thanks.
