I know dumb question but what is the right way to empty a 20 ga? I know to eject using bolt but then suppose to pull bolt back while holding button, push down selector lever. shells are not falling out. What am I missing. first Franchi. I have two brownings, one beretta, two o/u but havent figured this out. Plus is this like the browning and operates best on dry sleeve?

Franchi 48 unload

Eject the shell from the chamber, close bolt watch fingers, press button push up shell lifter, push in on the shell stop, with other hand pull down slighty on shell and it should come out, do same for rest of shells.Bit tricky first time.

It can also be done with the bolt held open, too; but, that's a bit of a bother holding the bolt back. Grousehunter49 is correct, you'll have to wiggle the round to get it to clear the carrier's lip. Of course, to keep the legal department happy, all this should be done with the safety engaged.
