France... develops guts?

yea, i'm sure they only mean that so they can point them at us, accuse us of environmental terrorism for not being kyoto sheep... that'll be the day.

please withhold my tax return this year and start building star wars already.

Naw -- this is just too much like The Twilight Zone.

I've gotta admit, when I first saw the story link over on Drudge, I sure did a double-take!
 
In a couple generations, France will become another islamic republic, then we'll have to worry about their nukes being aimed at us.

No surprise here (France threating to use nuclear force).
I saw this coming a couple/few years ago.
(FWIW - I was labeled a tin foil hat wearer IIRC).

France is:
- A wealthy country struggling to retain it's wealth.
- A former "world power", that's fallen on hard times in the last couple hundred years in that department.
- A country with no real military to speak of to defend it's interests;down to having only "the big stick" of nuclear weapons.
- Desperate to keep the flow of crude oil being channeled through interests that are "friendly" to them.
- A country with an increasing Islamic population;allied with countries that have an increasing Islamic population.

My best guess(?) here is that France will see some act on the part of Israel as being a *terrorist* act, and plop a nuke into Israel.
