The Python is without a doubt one of the handsomest revolvers ever made, though Single Action revolvers head my list.

Top of my list is the Colt 1860 Army model. Second is a tie between the Colt New Frontier and the original Ruger Flap Top Blackhawk in .357 Magnum, 4 5/8" ~ 4 3/4" barrels.

Mmmm

Very nice 12, 4 of the finest modern revolvers extant, if not the finest.

Can you share your impressions comparing the 4 guns. Do you have a favorite of the 4?
I for one really appreciate great manufacturing esp. in a wheel gun.

While heavy petting may occur quite often, when you choose to go all the way (to the range) how do they stack up?

IMHO when it comes to looks? Reverse the order.
