Found the last Remington 5R in a box

Sort of a joke in the title, but go try and find a Gen 2 anywhere.
I am looking for a new 300wm target rifle and stumbled across this one in a local store. Should I take a chance on the known accuracy problems or pass it by and pick up a Bergara?
 
I have not owned one personally, but every forum that I have read said they were “hit and miss” on accuracy.
Supposedly quality control had gone downhill in their last few years.
 
I wouldn't bet on a Bergara being better. I've had a couple of Bergara's. They ain't bad, but IMO are over rated and over priced for what you get.

For the same money I'd choose the Remington 5R over a Bergara 10 times out of 10. And I'm not a huge Remington fan.
 
Remington actions are notorious for twisting loose in epoxy bedding shooting heavy bullets fast. Accuracy suffers.
