Found something cool

Certainly unique.
Gotta wonder if the 3 rounds "always" exit smoothly, or risk the possibility of jamming in the barrel.

Three chances to hit an enemy per shot, pre burst-fire clockwork on automatic rifles.
We had one; the 7.62 NATO Duplex Ball. Just two bullets in a .308 case, but the same idea.

Super-imposed bullets are kinda neat.

I have to wonder if any of them would hit pont of aim, or if they would rnadomly cluster around.

I'd be very interested to see some real testing of the concept.

Mike is correct. It's a concept that comes up periodically, and some folks are still playing with it. This outfit is still playing with the concept. And, Corbin makes swage dies for a stacking bullet. From what I've seen over the years, the results have never been truly satisfactory.

I have a similar one in 50 cal. Bought it years ago at the San Francisco Gun Exchange. They've been closed for over a decade now.

I just saw something similar to this for pistol. Cant remember where I saw it though. It was like 3 - 55 gr slugs that fit into reach other.

Remington used to offer either 2 or 3 buckshot in a .38 Special, and Winchester? I think? offered loads that had lead disks.

All suffered from accuracy issues and lack of penetration.
