Found FAL need advice

Need some quick advice. I have been looking for FALs for a while and I have found a used one for $600.00. It is a post ban FAL L1A1 Imbel receiver, thumbhole stock, B-square scope mount and Scope with BDC. The scope is not great but functional. Rifle is in good shape and looks fine. Do you think this is a fair price for this rifle. Thanks

What you have is a Century L1A1 Sporter. Do a search in this forum on "Century Sporter" for some information/opinions on it. To summarize, its not a bad rifle. I don't believe Century has sold them for several years now and new I think they went for about $500. I suspect that price isn't too bad, although probably close to what the seller paid for it with the accessories.

Go Here: http://www.fnfal.com/falfiles/. You will find that while the century guns aren't bad, you may be able to do better if you're really interested in an FAL.
