Found a Kel-Tec P-32 at Atlanta gunshow

I went to the Eastman gunshow in Atlanta yesterday and found a dealer from N. GA who had 12 Kel-Tec P32s on his table. He said that he had over 25 that morning. I didn't see a single other one anywhere else at the show. Well needless to say I have a new pocket buddy. Now all I need is the belt clip for it.

BTW, has any reporter tried to buy a gun at a gunshow since they they started talking about the "gunshow loophole"? I don't know about anyone else, but I had to fill out a yellow form. Guess they thought I looked suspicious.

I hope you like your P32 as well as I like mine. Remember, if you have any problems with the gun to call Kel-tec. They are very helpful, and have great customer service.

Mine is my always gun. If the P-11 don't fit the bill, the P-32 does

R Varn,
Post your lunchtime shooting impressions of your new P-32.
What ammunition did you use? Any malfunctions?
I use Federal Hydra-Shoks and Winchester Silvertips. My P-32 runs like a clock!
I sent the slide, stop, take down pin, and the barrel to Kel-Tec along with $20.00 and exchanged for hard-chrome parts. It should be pretty rust resistant.
I think that most posts have been positive regarding the P-32. I know I'm happy!

I like the fiocchi 60gr SJHP myself. It's the most powerful 32 acp out right now (until someone makes a +P) as tested and chrono'd by the Kel-Tec online group.

what did you pay for it?

I only saw one at this weekend's show in Raleigh NC......$269 or $279 (blued finish), I forgot.

I just bought one last week. I paid $280.00 for it. I went to the gun show in Harrisburg, PA on Saturday. Of the many handguns there I only saw one P32 and they wanted $295.00 plus tax.

I bought mine, a chromed slide model at the February, Birmingham gun show and the dealer had one gun. It was the only one that I saw at the very large gun show. The dealer gave me a LEO discount and I paid $240.00 for mine out the door. Darn good price, so I have found out. Mine has been 100 percent reliable and its my gun for all seaons. Pretty hard to come up with an excuse to not carry that light weight little jewel. I love mine, its the perfect backup gun.

I bought one yesterday afternoon. I'm going to the range TODAY at lunch...that really sounded familiar! :)

I only have 100 rounds of Winchester ball ammo to shoot. I'm hoping to find some more ammo soon.

Scratch the range session...some of the fine folks on the KTOG list suggested a bit of pre-shooting work that will be helpfull. I'll go to the range after I finish.

Sorry it took me so long to get back.

I shot 100 rounds of fiocchi 60gr SJHP. Liked it alot. Pretty accurate for such a small light gun. I felt pretty good about the power. I was worried about the .32 being weak, but it doesn't feel like that when it's in your hand. I had the same problem twice...after the first shot had a failure to feed. Turns out that the rim of the top round in the magazine was catching in the extractor grove of the case below. The problem was that I wasn't making sure that the rounds were all the way back in the mag. After I fixed that, no problem.

BTW, I paid $259.

Best to all,

Robert

R Varn,

Glad you like your "pocket protector". I know I love mine!

If buying from a dealer, one has always had to fill out a yellow form. It's only when buying from an individual that one does not...

I took mine to the range yesterday. Actually, I went two times.

The first session I fired 100 rounds of Winchester ball ammo. I had 2 failures to feed in the first 24 rounds. All it took was a gentle push on the rear of the slide to finish chanbering the round. I no other failures with the ball ammo. I was shooting at a plate machine, from about 15 yards, and actually dropping the plates most of the time! This gun is a lot more acurate than I thought it would be.

Later in the day, I bought some Winchester Silvertips. I shot 50 rounds without a problem.

I'm a happy KTer now! :)
