Hello every buddy,
I have been looking all through the web and books for information on a shotgun that was handed down to me. I have a 1st hammerless double barrel 12 gauge shotgun in great condition from Forehand Arms Co. I recieved it from the grand parents which was handed down for generations. I am having trouble trying to find information on it. When broken down it go's into a leather saddle bag in three pieces. On the barrle it is stamped with a serial number of #111 and on the receiver it is stamped with #111 and on the little wooden piece that go's on the barrel. All three parts have the same stamping, I hope that is good. I don't know if that is the serial number. There is a wild turkey engraved on the butt stock. If anybody knows anything of the history of this wepon it would be greatly informative to me and the history.
