Forend pistol grip for Mossberg 500A

Will the TacStar pistol grip forend fit on a Mossberg 500A? Unfortunately, neither the TacStar nor the Mossberg customer service person I got gave me confidence-inspiring answers. Thanks! Frank
 
Tacstar makes a version that will fit the Mossbergs. You reuse the metal portion of the stock forend. (Tip: Since you have to disassemble the firearm to remove the forend, you can use one of the cartridge stops as a large "screwdriver" to remove the nut that holds on the forearm.)

Having said all that, I don't like the forward pistol grips on Mossbergs because it's real easy to twist the forend and tweak the action bars.
