For those that shoot moonclip guns...

How many moon clips do you have? I only have 625s, so I only have one size moon clip. I've picked some up in trades, bought a few everytime I dropped by my source. I took inventory about a week ago. I was surprised at how many I have. 150+

And for those that shoot the 1917s or 625s, how much .45AR ammo or brass do you have. Me? 300 rounds.

I have 60 moon clips. 30 each for my 45 ACPS (2 25-2, 1 625, and 1 1917 Brazilian contract) and 2 610s. Never had the desire to shoot 45 AR. They don't sell it locally (even at gunshows) and since I don't reload I can't justify the difference in price.

About 10 full moon and 10 halfs. Just shot my first 50 AR last night.

I'll probably pick up another 6 Fulls, and start carrying a pencil to the range. :)

I have to say that the AR are kinda nice. I reload, so I'll probably pick up some more AR brass.

Never counted them but about 20 or 30 I would guess. I wanted to be able to have more than a box of 50 in clips when I went to the range so I started picking up a few extras when I went to gun shows.

As far as 45AR brass, I have exactly 99. I bought a bag of 100 and one was defective.

Hello. I've got 7 or 8 moon clips and about twice that in half-mooners. Got about 700 rnds or AR loaded with about another 1000 cases to go before all are reloaded.

Best.

Not enuf. Only about 10 moon clips. Don't have any autorim brass. As you might imagine, I load a bunch of 45 ACP ;)

15 or 20 moon clips & half-moons.

50 rounds of Georgia Arms .45 Auto Rim Gold Dots.

A 625-3 and a 625-4 to shoot it all through.

A bunch I guess.

I like to have enough of the full moons to shoot a typical IDPA or even big IPSC match without having to pull empties or fill up partials. So I guess in .45 maybe 50 or so, almost as many in 6 shot 9mm (somebody gave me some of those, got lucky there), 25 or so for 5 shot 9mm. Oh, also a couple of stainless ones for .45, drilled 'em so I could wear them on a necklace. Have had questions as to whether they were a religious symbol, sort of nodded and said well, yeah, kinda!:D Hey, one of our lady pin shooters a few years back made a set of earrings out of moon clips, she had several non-shooting women ask where she bought em!

This many!

:D

Oh lets see.

I have about 20 or so for use in my 1955 target and my 3" and 5" 625's. I also load AR brass sometimes and have about 300 rounds of it.

I have 13 (3 that came with the gun and 10 extra) clips for my Performance center 627 8 shot .357 mag.

I have 10 clips for my 6.5 (first batch) 610 10mm revolver.

moon clips

About 200 full-moon clips and 20 1/2-mooners. 1000 cases more or less of .45 AR. Of course, I've been in the .45 ACP handgun business for a long time!

Stainless moon clips:

I think Wilson's, Brownell's, or Cylinder and Slide can help you, griz, I've had these a while so it's hard to remember.

'Bout 60-70 fullmoons. I keep buying 'em in batches of twenty.

One set of halfs. not impressed. Too thin.

One set of thirds, for the halibut. They fit, spacing-wise, in my .45 derringer, but theres no rim clearance. I may modify it to accomodate 'em, and install an extractor.

Got about 300 rounds of AR, for to run in modified Webleys in original usage style.

Webleys Mk. IV, Mk. I, 1917's Colt and S&W.
