My saga with the Marlin 983t. Got it back on Sunday, with a work order that described what was done. Apparently it was missing a pin on the feed tube and they also chamfered the feed neck.
Took it out, put my Nikon Coyote Special scope on it and proceded to sight it in. Once it was sighted in we put 150 rounds through it w/o a single misfire, jam, misfeed or failure to eject.
We were shooting bottle caps at 100 yards with no problems with it so it is indeed accurate as well.
Knock on wood, it continues to perform this way.
