What do you mean "as a kid?" I have one of those in my desk drawer. Keeps my staff on their toes, it does.

I might need one of these new ones, though. Wiping out entire armies with rubber bands - only a 1911 could do that.

My father made me a single shot rifle as a kid. Used bands cut from tubes from his semi tires . Little slow to reload but if close hurt . I did have range over the pistols other kids carried.
