The gun comes from an old pc game in 90's I used to play as a kid called Fallout, the description for the gun in the game was that it was a chopped down .223 rifle made into a pistol. Someone must have recreated it sort of like steampunk guns.

I'm betting the game took it from that movie, not sure I have seen it. The game had references to Mad Max and the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly as well.

Edit: Yup, quick search says the game took it from the movie Blade Runner.

If you can't tell by now I am a 90's kid. And even as I get close to 30, I am not ashamed to say I still play video games :D

Well, I'd yell at the guy for breaking some of Cooper's Rules, but frankly...

since there's two levers in there, that may -NOT- be the trigger,
and
the device appears to have NO SIGHTS, so it's tough to deal with that rule altogether.

It's definitely ugly, though.

Dragline45, you really should watch it. It's pretty darn good.

The prop itself apparently was made from a Charter Arms bulldog and parts from a Steyr-Mannlicher rifle. More info here.

It's a classic, gritty future noir. Influenced many of the games you have probably played and the feel of some later movies. Based on a book by Philip K. Dick called "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep."
