Discussion seen on 5 January edition of nraLIVE.com, entitled The Politics of Gun Control, featuring Ginny Simone and Civil Rights Attorney Chuck Michel are compelling viewing. At least it so struck the writer.

Aside from some pending court cases, the results of upcoming elections may ring loud for a long time in California, and the ramifications of what happens there might well prove significant regarding what happens in other places. California, for some reason, seems to be "a model" for other parts of the country, I don't know why.

In any event, voting against the anti-gunners seems the obvious thing to do, but perhaps equally important is the need to keep after your "elected things". Also, remember that firearms rights are CIVIL RIGHTS, and that those who act to trash one of them, cannot be trusted, respecting ANY of the thers.

Obviously, this applies across the board. California is one state, there are 49 others, and the anti-gunners are active in all of them, as are opponents of civil rights in general.
