Fobus Holsters?

I like their paddles for just beating around the woods or farm. I cut the paddle off just below the belt hooks, then round the corners & edges off. The end result is a holster you can easily hook-unhook from your belt while seated in a vehicle.

(Never trust a man that don't wear a belt, unless he's wearing bibs of course.)

Downside to the fobi is that they're not particularly concealable and I don't consider them a retention holster.

I have 2 one that's been used and abused for my Glock 22 and one that I just bought for my SIG P226 E2...took a little getting used to. They're really tight. But I like them.

I have one for my 1911 and XD9. They are good for carring open but not much for ccw. I'm looking to buy one for my sig 220 here in the new future

I've had three, for three different guns. One fits pretty good, one fits sorta OK and one other that no amount of trying could get the gun to fit.

might be a little bit of a gripe, but, I bought one for my Taurus 24/7 Pro, that was listed to fit it.
Got the holster, unwrapped it, threw away the wrapping. Bad move. :(

I didn't try the gun in it right away, but a few days later when I wanted to see how it fit, found that it didn't. Not really even close.
Called them up to see what could be done. Long story short.. nothing. I could have gotten a refund, if the holster showed no signs of use, and if I returned it in the original packaging. (see above)

I'll sell it cheap...

Alright. I took back the one for the SIG it stabbed into me after a long day and was uncomfortable. Instead got a Blackhawk. It either goes through the belt or as a paddle. And it can be adjusted.

Fobus holsters...

I looked into the polymer type Fobus line a few years ago.
I like the special liner they claim to add for a smooth draw & weapon protection(surface) but I'm not thrilled with the rivet type designs. :(
It looks cheap and could catch or snag on clothing/gear. :(

I'd look at other major brands like the Blade-tech Blackhawk Safariland SFS & COMholsters.
I will end by saying the newer type Fobus styles look better but Im in no rush to buy any now.
