FNS 9 Compact thickness

Does anyone have this gun? The specs have it listed at 1.35" wide which seems really thick but I was wondering if that measurement includes the ambidextrous safety on the model with a manual safety. Because the glock 26 and 19 are 1.18", seems like a huge difference for iwb carry. Is there anyone here that has one that'd be willing to get out a caliper and measure the widest point aside from the safety? If be getting the one without the safety. Thanks in advance!

I have the FNS9c. It is the no thumb safety variant. The width of the gun down most of the slide is 1.188". The width over the ambidextrous slide releases is 1.316". The width over the takedown lever is 1.24". These are my personal measurements with calipers.

FWIW having done a side-by-side comparison at a LGS, there is virtually no discernible difference in slide or frame width between the FNS9c, G19, and M&P9c. The only difference is at the controls.

Also FWIW, the profile of the FNS9c is close enough to the M&P9c that I suspect that most M&P compact holsters will work, but I have not tested this, as I haven't bought an FNS9c yet (although I'm strongly considering it). :)

Thanks for the measurements I appreciate you taking the time to do that. that's kinda what I was thinking, 1.35" seemed on the high end as far as slides go but fn must Measure differently than glock. I'm really considering the Fns9c, I like the ruger sr9c but it loses 2 rounds of capacity for the same size gun and you can't get it without a safety. I've heard the fn has a great trigger compared to the m&p. So far it's the only compact 9mm that doesn't seem to have any drawbacks, at least to me. Seems like the compete package and I love that it comes with 3 mags. Thanks again!
