FNH Police SLP vs. Mossberg 930

I am looking for a good tactical semi-auto shotgun. I have narrowed the field down to the FNHUSA Police SLP and the Mossberg 930. Both these shotguns appear to be indentical in features and looks. The biggest difference is the price. FNH is about $300 more. Anybody out there had experience with one or the other or both? What make the FNH cost more? Thanks.

The FN is top quality. It is an auto loader. SLP means "Self-Loading Police". I have heard a lot of stories of poor build quality on the 930. Canted sights, loose rails etc. I have the 18' SLP and it is a very nice shotgun. Too me the extra 200 was well worth it. YMMV

The SLP is a nice shotgun, it comes with 2 chokes. If you want chokes on the Mossberg you will have to have it threaded etc. Chokes may not be important to you however.
