I have a rifle passed to me by my Great Aunt Martha, God rest her soul. It is a M-98 bolt action 24" barrel chambered in a 257 Ackley-IMP. The rifle is as beautiful as the day it was made. It bears a Redfield 3x9x40mm scope. I also have the Ackley dies for the ammo. The markings are as follows,SN 22344 on barrel, underside of barrel Douglass 2 78 KK, and on under side of reciever K r B. The barrel states "Action made in Belgium". I know the works of the firearm where made by Fabrique Nationale, but was the gun sold by another manufacturer. Worth? Where to sell? I'll never use this fine rifle, but someone should. Sicerely John Samson. PS this is my first ever post so please forgive me any inconsistencies or lack of protocol.
