My son now has a FN Herstal single shot .22 short with a "Tee Bolt" action. We want to discover the date of manufacture and get an idea about the value of the rifle. The number stamped on the underside of the barrel is 58263. We assume that number is the serial number. The rifle came to my family during WWII and that is the only indication of the age of the rifle. The rifle may be older. Any info is welcome. Thank you in advance.
