Any one had any experience with this gun? Saw one in a counter of a local shop and have heard nothing about it. I know FN makes good rifles but was wondering how their handguns are.

I REALLY like the looks of that P90. What a small submachine gun... and 50 ROUNDS!!

Now the funky ammo is a down-side, but they're getting NATO classification for it.

I'll TAKE IT!!

Does everyone know what POS means? It hurts me to speak ill of a handgun but this POS hurt me in the wallet. I paid good money for it and neither my shooting friends nor I can hit the broad side of a wall with my 40 S&W FN 49. Maybe the 49 doesn't relate to the calibers this pistol comes in but rather to the size of the groups you can expect at 10 yards. Four by nine inches sounds about right. My FN49 is so bad that one friend could not find the paper at 10 yards. It is a nice looking and handling pistol with a trigger pull akin to a Glock. I like my Glocks but I do not like the FN49. Do as you please and I will be happy for you if you get a good FN49, I didn't. Regards, Richard.

I rented one last night and it took time to get use to the DAO 10lb trigger. But once I had it down I was shooting a very good groups at 7 and 15 yards. I was shooting PMC FMJ and went through 100 rounds and realy enjoyed it. I think it might be the trigger you are having problems with because I talked to the owner of the range and he said that a lot of people will flinch before they shoot and cause to go low and left. He said that he even had problems with it but once he found how to control the trigger it was accurate. So over all I was impressed with it and am very close to buying one. They have them for $399 so that seems like a good deal. Sorry to hear you don't like it.

markd, how did you ever get the idea that I don't like this pistol? I seldom use the word abhor but it is appropriate in this case. This great pistol would make an even better anchor as I don't think it would make a good rock. Regards, Richard.
