Fn fns-9 9 mm

I have none, but I had limited experience with an FNP, the precursor to the FNX, and it seemed like a well-made, quality-machined gun.

If you're concerned about trigger pull/weight/specifics, I'm no help with the FNS, but if you're wondering about the brand in general, FN's primary market is manufacturing weapons for world militaries. They definitely know how to make a quality gun.

I have one, it's one of my favorite 9mm's. When I first bought it, the tip of the striker broke off after about 130 rounds. I suspect it was defective from the factory as about every 5th trigger pull was very hard and gritty throwing my shots off target. Called FN, they immediately e-mailed me a shipping label and within three weeks the gun was back and repaired. I have about a 1000 flawless rounds through it now. Mine came with Trijicon night sights. I really like the deep V rear sight. All controls except the take down lever are ambidextrous. Grip texture is similar to a gen 4 glock. For my hand, ergonomics are excellent. For me it's one of the most accurate 9mm's I own. Hickok45 has a good review of it on YouTube.

Fantastic firearm. I honestly believe it is the most under rated handgun out there. I have around 1500 rounds through mine and it has been flawless and accurate.

You can find them for around $450. That's a steal.

Easy to disassemble and clean. I like the trigger, but not everyone does. I has a heavier trigger than a glock and much heavier than the ppq. For a defensive/carry handgun I prefer the heavier trigger. Sights take some time getting used to though.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

I purchased a Browning PRO-9, which was the civilian version of the FNP-9, several years ago. Fine pistol however they discontinued this version a few years back.
