Anyone have any idea what the going rate for a new one is? I saw one this weekend at a local show, and the seller wanted $2800 for it. It was new, with the folding stock.
I wish I had been able to buy one back in the late '80's but was not old enough.
 
Buddy Hinton and a few others at http://www.sturmgewehr.com are very knowledgeable about FNCs. They periodically pop up on the site's WTS board. I seem to recall that some character in the mid-west registered hundreds of FNC auto sears in 1986 and sells them at a reasonable, as compared to other weaon types, price.
 
S&H Arms

Curtis Higgins of S&H Arms does transferable auto sear conversions of FNCs. True 3-shot burst & Full. Is currently listing LNIB conversions for $4,500. A vertiable bargin in the class 3 world.

If you buy get a few extra firing pins from cole-distributing.com. They are thin and prone to breakage.
