I’m looking at picking one of these for a home defense gun. Does anybody on here have any experience with them? I had a FN FNS-9c that I absolutely loved but sold it due to needing money to move states. The only thing I’m wary about with the MRD is the fully blacked out sights.
 
I’ve resisted buying one despite some excellent prices online.

The blacked out sights can be a good thing if you’re using the pistol as a red dot host. I currently am using a Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS and Type 2 RMR. Normally I like a front sight with a tritium dot, a yellow surround, and a black rear (with or without tritium). However, I found an all black setup helps me focus more on the dot.

I have the midsized version. I like the blacked out sights. I have a red dot mounted on mine. Unfortunately, I haven't got to shoot it yet due to the ranges being closed. I have dry fire practiced with a laser cartridge though. I am looking forward to getting to the range.
