A FRIEND OF MINE IS LOOKING FOR SOME HIGH CAPACITY MAGS
FOR AN FN 308 PARATROOPER MODEL. I HAVE ONLY BEEN ABLE
TO FIND 20 RD. CLIPS. THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

Most FAL mags are 20rds, I think DSA sells 30 rounders, but you're talking about a 50 buck or so difference between the two. Also is it metric or inch gun? I believe 30 rounders only come in metric, although you can make them work in an inch gun.

I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS METRIC OR INCH. I AM TRYING TO HELP
OUT A FRIEND. HE IS WANTING 30 ROUNDERS AND I DON'T THINK
THAT PRICE IS A PROBLEM. WHAT OR WHO IS DSA? THANKS FOR
THE INFO

Bren 30 rounders are made to work inverted. They may or may not have the spring pressure to feed into a L1A1 or FAL. They are selling for $65 ea. They are "inch" style, but a little Dremel work will allow them to fit into a metric gun.

Not high cap.... REGULAR CAP MAGS!

We are in a war of words, lets not play the media's game and call things something they are not. The standard mag size is 20 rounds, and therefore that is standard cap!

Well, since the FAL was designed to accept 20rnd mags and 30rnd mags were a rather unsuccessful afterthought, "high capacity" is probably appropriate.

On that note, 7.62x51 30rnd magazines are long, heavy, and have a history for unreliability (with the exception of top feeds, like BrEn and it's father, the ZB-xx). I wouldn't own any more than one of any type, mainly as a curiosity.
