A guy who I bought a rifle from a month or so ago says there's some good hog hunting around the paper mill lands in the panhandle. He may have said a permit must be obtained from the owners or the mill land.
That's all I got and have not investigated further. Hope this helps.
Hogs are considered game animals only in some wildlife management areas. On private land they are considered domestic lifestock and, with the landowners permission, may be taken without a license or permit at any time and in almost any manner (rifle, handgun, bow, spear, knife, etc.).
