"Flowers are good, Guns are bad"

I saw coverage on the evening news about Million Mom March. They had the "Guns are bad" slogan for T shirts. Isn't that just sweet. We should come up with some slogans to counter this propaganda crusade. How about "Flowers are good and guns are fun." I'm not good at these. Any better ideas?
 
How about: "Flowers are a pretty sight; guns are our 2nd Amendment right."

or: "Flowers make some people sneeze, guns can make a bad guy 'freeze'."

or: "Flowers are good, guns are misunderstood."

or: "Flowers are great to give your wife, but a gun will let you guard her life."

Not too good, but maybe they'll stir a thought or two in someone else....

*Understanding that any substance that causes a chemical change in the body is a drug, of course! Alcohol is a social drug...
 
I saw it, it was on NBC. I watched the whole thing and when they went back to Tom Brokaw I thought, "Is that it?" It was like a hit and run slap at "guns" with no other side to it. "Flowers are good, Guns are bad" What does that mean. She is advocating safe storage of guns in the home and licensing gun owners but their tee shirts just slams guns. I don't see a lot of brain work there.
I just shook my head. "Why not Fried Chicken is good, Guns are Bad" I guess people who like guns are bad too.

Good point, DC. I'll bet fried chicken has killed more people than guns have.

The ad visual is a strong young cop in full uniform looking at the camera; in his holster instead of a gun is a spray of flowers. The headline is: "Guns are bad. That's why I've turned to flowers." Text reads: "The next time you are being mugged, you don't need to call me for help-- you can defend yourself. Just call your FTD florist for a 911 delivery, and he will bring you a big bouquet of roses. You can do anything I can do with these GOOD flowers. Defeat burglars with rosepetal fragrance...stop carjackers with a stern shake of gardenia leaves...halt rapists in their act with a mere wiggle of the tulip stem. Remember, flowers are good, guns are bad. And some people are really stupid."
 
I plan to attend the SAS-AIMM March in D.C. on Mother's Day. And I'll be wearing my Tyranny Response Team t-shirt.

Yellow letters on a blue shirt. Gets a LOT of attention when worn around pro's and anti's alike, especially outside the great state of Colorado.
