Gore obtained an order from from a Florida judge ( wife works in Clinton's administration ) to do a hand recount in the four most Democratic counties in Florida. They expect to find ballots that have been partially punched and have been overlooked by the counting machine. I just heard that three Democrats and two Republicans will oversee the count. OK, let's vote, is that a hole? Oh ya, that's another "A" hole. That is an Al Gore hole. In other words, they can pick and choose until they have the votes. They believe that there are thousands of these. The fix is in! Is this true?

The fix is in and it looks like we will have a coup after all. If Gore gets in this way then I, for one, will not recognize his legitimacy! I will also consider him to be a criminal and that our Republic and its Constitution to be violated. The Real Reason for the Second Amendment is clearly upon us.

It is not only absurd to allow a manual recount of only some precincts, but it also invites further fraud.
Think about it. A certain percentage of ballots don't have holes correctly punched. Anywhere. If you do a manual recount in a mainly Democratic precinct, you're bound to find more Democratic votes. And, you would find proportionately more votes in a mainly Republican precinct.
If this is how Al Gore becomes President, I concur ... he should be openly disobeyed and resisted - his government should be treated as having no legitimacy whatsoever.
I trust and pray that the Republicans will not be so foolish as to allow this to continue.

The Republicans can't do anything about this. The county election boards have the power to undertake manual recounts.
Prepare yourselves. Gore is likely to be elected president from all of this vote hunting that's going to be occurring in Palm Beach.

My wife came up with the perfect analogy to this hand re-count thing:
"Honey, we do that every time you come home from your weekly pistol club shoot. We sit here and look at your targets....hold them up to the light....turn them over....turn them sideways....turn them upside down....to try and figure out if a particular shot is in the 8 ring or the 9 ring."

What can we do? For one, forget EVERYTHING you have ever been tought about the United States of America in history class.

Can a common may get nominated on a ballot and trust he will win if he gets the most marks? Absolutely not. Unless you're sleeping with the enemy, or you can buy his entire castle, you havn't got an icecube's chance in hell of resisting the one in power.
If the rightfull presidential outcome can be arrived at by these practices, then so can the "rightfull" outcome of votes on issues like "people must solute those wearing the gov't insignea, lest they be charged with crime", and "any person speaking of maintaining arms in any way shall be guilty of felony, punishable by death" and "the people shall pay an homage of not less than 75% of their pay to the gov't organization" and so on....
If a ANY vote is allowed to drag into a shady process in the court room, then so shall EVERY vote here after. Every bill going through congress will also go through a legal trial under accusations that basically say "well, judge, he didn't mean to raise his hand to say "I", but rather to wipe away some of the $h!t dribbling out of his ear".

Just finished watching the news conference on CNN. It is working out exactly as I expected.
Gore has many more votes in Palm Beach County than Bush, based upon the machine recount - it is mainly a Democratic county. As you would expect, the manual recount has therefore found more additional votes for Gore than for Bush. They tested 1% of the county manually, and now conclude they may be able to pick up 1,900 to 3,500 votes for Gore!
Think about it. If they did a manual recount in a mainly Republican county, the results would be the exact opposite ... they would conclude that a full, manual recount would result in more votes for Bush than Gore. This is certainly and simply clever ballot theft.
The canvasing board voted 2 to 1 to proceed to a full, manual recount of Palm Beach County - the judge on the board wanted to get guidance from the state elections commission before proceeding. He lost that vote, although he will still be seeking such an opinion. The board will meet again on Monday, at 10:00am.
Note, there is a federal hearing Monday at 9:30am to address the matter of an injunction against this process - that is, an injunction against the full manual recount.
Friends, if the Democrats are able to proceed with this BS, Gore will almost surely be the President. The most basic statistical theory will support that perspective. The only fair way to proceed is to actually require a manual recount of every dam* vote in FL. The Democrats will insist on only recounting mainly Democratic counties. They may be lying scumbags, but they are not stupid.
If our system goes along with this, Al Gore will have so obviously stolen the Presidency, I sincerely wonder how we can avoid tearing this country apart.

I wonder if anyone in the military is beginning to wonder how this may affect the chain of command ...
