Flitz vs. Mothers

What do you use to clean your stainless?

I like the paste flitz to clean up my smiths. But am having trouble to find something that cleans and shines on blued.
Any help?

Simichrome, if polished, or Scotchbrite pads if matte stainless.
NO polish is recommended for blued guns. You will polish the bluing right off!
If you want blued guns shiny, use paste wax.

And not car wax.
Many car waxes contain abrasives to polish paint. These can thin or remove bluing.

Johnson's Paste wax or Renaissance Carnuba wax is good.

i use both... first mothers... to take off the heavier tarnish....then flitz to give that extra shine....seems to work well.

I used Mother's on my GP100 to change the finish. I would suggest a leadaway cloth instead for general cleaning.

Anyone use Flitz Rifle/Gun Wax? Label indicates it's non abrasive contains carnuba and bees wax and seems to indicate it's save on gun bluing. I'd like to try it on a couple of my blued guns.

I've used the Flitz Rifle and Gun Wax (got it free with a "sampler pack" from flitz) I like it. It goes on easy and protects well.
I usually use Renaissance Wax and still prefer it to the flitz wax. The biggest benefit of the flitz that I found (other than being free:D) is that it is a liquid and spreads easier.
