Flintlock Pistol Competition?

Greetings all,
A year or so ago I was reading the results for the Camp Perry matches, and oggling all the different little subsets of competition. Interestingly, they had not only black powder pistol competitions, but divided into Cap and Ball, Percussion Single Shot, and Flintlock pistol. Flintlock pistol was _further_ subdivided into rifled or smoothbore?
At that point one wonders whether they have the same five guys from Broken Bow, Nebraska, who originally thought up "smoothbore target flintlock" showing up every year.
But anyway, where does one find out more about flintlock target shooting? Where can one buy an actual "target" flintlock, smooth or rifled? I've seen lots of basic imports, but are these actually serious pieces, or do you have to find some flintlock rifle maker who can branch out a bit? Hmmm... Smoothbore .75 Tower flintlock with set triggers... What kind of sights would a target piece have?

So many questions... Any answers?
Thanks,
-LCpl Matthew Boris
