Flat top mount for Aimpoint

I am wanting to put a new Aimpoint on a flat top Bushmaster. I have used the ARMS 22M68 mount before on a Bushmaster Signature which does not have a front sight and liked the mount. The new rifle has a front sight so I want to have a backup rear sight and I want the front sight to be visible in the lower third of the Aimpoint as I look through it and the folded down rear not obstructing any of the Aimpoints filed of view. Has anyone tried the SWAN sleeve with the 22M68 in this application? Or would I be better served by going with the 22M68 with full spacer and a # 40 rear sight? Are both these combinations the same height when assembled [as far as distance the dot appears above front post and distance between top of folded down rear sight and bottom of Aimpoint tube]? And if anyone could post a photo of a similar setup that would be much appreciated. Thanks, Mike...

I got the stardard length ARMS #38 Swan Sleeve designed for the M16/M4 flat top receivers.
Works great.
Within 100 yrds have the dot and if I need to reach out a ways I release the rear sight and instantly I'm on iron....right through the Aimpoint lense.
It's perfect!
I believe my Aimpoint came with their standard ring and that's what's on it now.

ARMS #38 set me back $150.

Sorry...no picture.
