Flat head .380 in a Kahr CW 380?

Recoil spring

I have 2 .380 pocket pistols, a Ruger LCP that eats anything, and a mechanically tighter Kahr CW 380. I don't use hollow points in either as tests have shown the FMJ will penetrate more and hit all the vitals, the hollow point tends to flatten out, less depth.

Three of the local retailers here in Austin, Academy, Walmart, and GT Distributors that I have done business with in the past feel it is good business practice to annoy job applicants, I have applied to them over the last year and prefer to not shop there anymore. Even filed criminal charges against Academy Sports with the Feds. So am scouting the pawn shops and one guy has lots of Winchester White box .380 FMJ with the flat head on it at a decent price. I seem to remember using some flat heads in my Kahr, but can't remember the brand, Anguilla perhaps?

I could also order in bulk from Midway-USA, but with shipping it makes more sense to buy lots of ammo at once. And I don't shoot my mouse guns much.

Anyone one have good luck using the flat heads in their tight Kahr pistols with reliability?

So what does that have to do with your question?

Just curious.

I've only run across WWB flat head .380 ammo once, and that was at Wallyworld. A couple of boxes are somewhere in my ammo locker, but have never run shot through my LCP, RM380, nor the CT380. So I can't help you there.

Less sources.

It means less convenience, the listed retailers take debit/credit cards, more hours and better product selection over the pawn shops, but I like to help the small business owners anyways.

Also, anyone who visits the malls/traditional big retailers would know that the customer service is often inferior to the small mom and pop stores. Sears, Macy's and J C Penny only have around 2-3 years left to exist as they are loosing billions.
