For those of you in HR District 62 (check your voter registration card),
Johnnie Byrd (R), your representative in Tallahassee, is undergoing a
challenge for his seat.

As Johnnie has been touted as a possible future Speaker, the opposition is
anxious to knock him off, if possible. HCI and its affiliates are also
anxious to see him defeated, and is working toward that end.

Johnnie has been a stalwart defender of freedom in the Florida legislature.
A staunch supporter of the Carlucci Act, which pre-empts local jurisdictions
from altering the State Firearms Laws, he supported Reciprocity, which
permits those of us with CCW's to carry our protection in 16 other states.
NRA gives him an "A+" for his dedicated service to RKBA.

Accordingly, Johnnie is working hard to continue to serve you, and needs
your help.

He is conducting a campaign walk so his campaign can meet as many voters as
possible by election day. The Walk meets at the McDonalds on Brandon
Boulevard (502 West Brandon Blvd.) every Saturday from 10-12 AM until
Election Day. If you can join in, call Johnnie for details at his Campaign
Office at 707-1998 or call Johnnie on his Cell Phone at 719-0854 (both area
code 813). If you cannot make the walks, please call and find out what you
can do to help his campaign.

So, for those of you in HR District 62, let's get out and "pound the
pavement" for this dedicated supporter of our Bill of rights to keep him in
Tallahassee! Your Second Amendment right depends on it!
