Fixed rear sight to go on Russian Mak?

I have a Russian Mak with the cheapo adjustable rear sight. Anybody replace this with something better? I was thinking of trying to adapt a Heine or something like that to it, maybe it would fit the slide cut.

I'd really like to have something more snag free. I don't change ammo much anyway.

I have a russian mak too. From what I have heard you are pretty much stuck with that rear sight. I had a new front sight dovetailed in my slide. Then I drilled the front and rear sights so now I have three dot sights. You could also look around for a bulgarian slide. They use to sell them at Makarov.com for about $60 with fixed sights. Mark
 
I saw a nice Bulg. Mak yesterday at a dealer...$140.00
The fixed sights were much nicer than my Russian...I almost bought it...but a slide would sure be nice.
 
I gave up on trying to find a good solution to this problem and went to a friend's pawn shop today and traded my old Russian IJ70 in on a new Bulgarion from SOG. This fixes :

1) the crappy adjustable rear sight

2) gets me into a 9x18mm and away from the .380.


Had him order me a couple of boxes of Barnual HPs as well. It should be here middle of next week.
