In this case it's packaged as a "Complete system of gun fighting" and a "martial art". This is a type of salesmanship that some firearms instructors adopt to set themselves apart from the pack. Sometimes it involves more flash than cash. I don't know much about this fella so I can't say much about him.

Point shooting goes back a long way and you can read up on that and practice the methods that have been around for well over a century.

Look into W.E. Fairbairn and E.A. Sykes who looked to systematize point shooting in the early 20th century.

Sykes and Col. Rex Applegate further developed techniques of point shooting. Importantly the "flash sight" technique which is widely used these days.

Michael Janich has some books and vids out as well as others.
