Fish and Game Clubs

Well I just moved to the Dayton area and I was hoping to buy some land. With corn over $7/bu and expected to rise to $10/bu I think I will not be able to in the foreseeable future. There is a Greene County Fish and Game club I am considering joining. Land in two deer tag zones, a nice pond to fish at, nice club house. Anyone know what questions I should ask, how much I should be will ing to pay, etc. Rough estimates would work well.

One question to ask is, "Do they allow guests?"
To begin with it seems like a great deal if they do allow guests, then you can bring your buddy hunting for free.
But, when you have been in a club, as I have, and you see a 17 year old kid wandering down the road at noon, with his rifle in his hand, asking if you have seen the 8 pointer that he shot, and you know the kid is not a member of the club, and you find out he is the nephew of a member using his guest priveleges, and realize a 17 year old punk who didn't even pay is in there shooting up an 8 pointer that you could have shot, then guest priveleges don't look so good.

A club with a nice club house is pretty good, I wouldn't doubt that it would go for $1000.
What is the limit up there in Ohio?

Guests for all non-hunting activities. Max five at a time. So I can take them to the range and teach them some basic riflery or go fishing. I kind of like those limits though.

Rules questions should include:
Can I put up perminant stands?
How many members are there per acre?
Are we using a QDM program?
What are the game bag limits and regulations?
Are there facilities on site to clean/store game.
What if someone is breaking the rules?
Are atv's allowed in the hunting area during hunting season?
Does anyone hunt with dogs? Are coon/rabbit dogs allowed during deer season?
Are we allowed to hunt predators?
Do we have to be elivated in a stand to hunt with firearms?

Just a few I could think of.
