First time shooting my revolver

Well, first time shooting for groups anyway, until recently I've just been shooting at bottles and stuff. With my litte Rohm .22 Short revolver. It used to have FTF's in almost every cylinder, after a thorough cleaning of the chambers and bore, all ran fine. Still have to get a cleaning rod and ram the spent shells out of the cylinder. For some reason the cylinder won't eject them. I had fun shooting though. I'm not sure how good/bad this is, probably bad though. Anyway, I'd just like more experienced revolver-shooters opinions. I shoot rifles more often, so this is way new to me. I just knew to grip it as far up as I could. Anyway, here's the target from 7 yards.
Thanks,
-Mo.

Well, your target wasn't the safest place in town. But yes, a little tightening up of the pattern would be in order. ;) Keep practicing.

I shoot revolver a lot. Assuming yours is a double action, it helps to learn how to "stage" the trigger; that is, to hold it back to just before its break point. From there, it shoots a lot like a single action. With practice, this all becomes second-nature.

Those are excellent groups for a Rohm

I remember when you could buy them new at Wal-Mart for about $30

Save your pennies and buy a REAL revolver like a S&W or Ruger, and you'll see what a quality gun can do

I was lucky to find these the day I got the gun. I have found some at the LGS. A bit over priced, but just about every thing is there. Can buy Aguila Super Extra Shorts for like $55/500 at another place. These were just some old Winchester superX.

Pretty decent group for that gun. My dad had a Rohm .22 short revolver, and it wasn't the best of guns, but it appears yours works pretty well.

Just the fact that you hit the paper at such a long rane for that gun is impressive. And it even looks like the bullets hit point first. Thats really impressive.

Sure you'd do better with a better gun, but I'll bet you already knew that. When I was your age, I'd have been tickled pink to have one of those.

Be careful, have fun, and keep shooting.
